Yes!  We are always here to help our community!  As we wind down from the barrage of hailstorms in 2023 & 2024, 2025 has allowed time for us to take on additional insurance claims as well as general roofing and repairs.  You can always rest assured we will continue to provide you with the same high quality, reliable service as you have come to expect from SK Roofing....  I stake my reputation on it!

As a reminder; we are in the midst of the 2025 hail season, March - June. Insurance companies allow claims to be filed up to 1 year after the occurrence and allow at least 1 1/2 years to complete the work.  Within these parameters we can schedule work at a time convenient to you.

When you contact SK Roofing we will gather the necessary information from you and schedule the initial inspection to confirm damage as soon as possible (typically 1-2 weeks.)   After your insurance company has sent their adjuster you will receive an "Adjuster's Summary". This summary details all work approved by your insurance company and the amount they will pay on this claim.  At that time Steve Kneese and/or Geoff Davis will make an appointment to meet with you to explain your options, talk about what you want and present our bid.   Rest assured, SK Roofing has contractors to complete the various additional items included in your claim, such as gutters, windows, garage doors, skylights, fascia repairs, painting/staining and other miscellaneous items.

Yes!  We will be happy to work with your insurance company. After spending many years working for a major insurance company Steve is very familiar with the claims process, different types of homeowners' policies, and how to maximize your benefits while always staying within the law.

Remember, house bill 2102 (the deductible law) went into effect on 9/1/2019 that requires homeowners to pay their deductible out of pocket before any recoverable depreciation is released. We will be happy to explain the process in easy-to-understand language. 

If your insurance adjuster includes replacing your gutters as part of your claim and you opt not to replace them, they will no longer be covered by your insurance policy, and you may lose the recoverable depreciation heldback on the gutters.  We have a very good working relationship with local gutter companies and work with them to maintain a seamless coordination of your job from start to finish.  If you have questions, please give us a call and we will be happy to explain how this process works.

We stand by our work.  SK Roofing provides a 10 year no leak warranty on most complete roof replacements in addition to any manufacturer's warranty. We will be happy to provide full disclosure of length of warranty depending on the type of structure and the type of roofing materials.
